Co-sponsored by Caltrans District 10 and Victory Village Amador, this informational workshop will educate veterans on available government benefits and resource programs.
Benefits and Resources discussed:
•  Starting a business and becoming government certified
•  Veteran Educational benefits
•  Employment assistance and opportunities
•  Compensation, pension, and claim service
•  State and Federal VA benefits
•  Veterans' Healthcare
•  Starting and managing a veteran-owned farm
•  Representatives from partnering agencies will present information on how veterans can succeed in using veteran resources and benefits
•  Employment Development Department
•  Amador County Veterans’ Service Office
•  CalVet
•  Vet Center
•  V.A. Healthcare
•  Farmer Veteran Coalition
Reservations are strongly recommended. Organizers are reaching out specifically to veterans and their families, but this event is open to the public, all are welcome to register and attend.
